The Pac 12 tournament is on it's way to Las Vegas this weekend at the MGM Grand Arena, Thursday, March 11th. Who will be victorious? I guess we will have to wait and see. No doubt thought that there is some great looking matchup's ahead. Of course everyone has their eye on Arizona, as it is the top seed entering the tournament. Along with Arizona, the number 2 seed Oregon has won league best conference tournament crown three times. My money is on Oregon. Think of what this team has done lately. Taking a group of guys who has barley played together, who just a few weeks ago were not likely to even make the tournament (21.2% chance), and transforming them into a team that has 23 wins under their belt. Not to mention what kind of drama that ensued in the offseason. They went from not making the tournament, to a high seed, to second. That shows the x-factor to me if anything does.
None of that is to say they will dominate this. Arizona is the team the Ducks have to watch out for. This is their second No. 1 seed year in a row. And they have a viable weapon in their arsenal, Shaquielle McKissic. Who was just named Pac 12's player of the year. We will find out what happens soon enough. Though again, my odds are on the Ducks. They look like they have what it takes at the moment to be victorious. I just hope that they can keep this momentum going.
