There are so many ways to keep up with NFL preseason. It's almost difficult to pick which way is best. Most of the time I like to watch as many games as possible on tv. While other times I want to watch a movie and keep up with the games via an app. Both ways are great, but you can't always do exactly what you want. Here is an in depth list of all of the ways you can catch any game.

First, we will start with streaming. This is quickly becoming the most popular way to watch really anything.

Cellular/Tablet/Computer/Streaming users:

I should start by noting that if you use Verizon, you can stream preseason games for free. All you need is the official NFL Mobile app. One thing that is a little frustrating (but understandable) is that you can only stream live games that are happening in the region you are in. So if you are in Texas, you will only get the games happening in Texas.

App for Windows

Another way to watch the NFL preseason live stream on your iPhone, iPad, Android and other devices is to watch the games on ESPN. This works with Watch ESPN and in the new DirecTV app that now streams ESPN.

You can stream Watch ESPN on the following connected devices:

  • Amazon FireTV
  • Amazon Kindle Fire
  • Android Smartphones and Tablets
  • Apple TV
  • iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
  • Chromecast
  • Roku
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 10
  • Apple Computers in a Browser
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox 360

One more streaming option that many people use is NFL Game Pass. I have yet to get the site a good run, but it is official. Usually the official sites run the smoothest.

Now for Television viewers:

One thing I find very aggravating is that the NFL Sunday Ticket package from DirecTV doesn't include access to NFL Preseason games. If you have found yourself with NFL Ticket and are wondering why you aren't catching the games, that is why, my friend.

Most all preseason games will be on:

  • NFL Network (or channel 212 for DirectTv)
  • ESPN (or channel 206 for Direct Tv)
  • NBC (local channel)
  • Fox (local channel)
  • CBS (local channel)

For Satellite Radio listeners:

These are the main channels that produce the very best quality. Both in sound and in commentary:

  • Sirius channel- 126 and 132
  • XM Channel- 228
  • SiriusXM Internet- 813 or 823
