No offense to Fox, CBS or NBC, but nobody is as good at broadcasting sports as ESPN. And it should be that way because that's all that they do.
Their commercials make more sense (catering more specifically to sport's fandom), their announcers are usually the most knowledgeable, and just the way they cover and present the action for me is the best of any network.
On top of that, I'm big on fantasy football (especially the last few seasons). And Monday Night games are typically the make or break for the entire week.
All that's just to say that I think Monday Night Football is the best part of the NFL. Gives you something to look forward to after the first day of the week's work. And you get to see how players respond to the spotlight that only ESPN can give on MNF. I really enjoy seeing rookies become household names after one huge game. Or supposedly elite qbs tank. (Andy Dalton anyone?)
I've even come to really like Mike Tirico and yes, even Jon Gruden. The only other announcer that I even enjoy half as much is Colinsworth, who does a fine job on Sunday night over at NBC.
