Fight night is finally here! The main event of tonight is Connor McGregor vs Nate Diaz. Connor has moved from featherweight to welterweight for this MGM Grand bout. That was quite a surprising move for me. He absolutely dominated his division. Now he takes the risk of being handled, due to his lack of throwing around that body weight. Either way, this fight is loaded with trash talk (as per the norm with McGregor).

Here is all the info you need to know for tonight's fights:

    UFC 196 Main Card

Conor McGregor (168) vs. Nate Diaz (169)

Holly Holm (135) vs. Miesha Tate (135)

Gian Villante (205) vs. Ilir Latifi (205)

Corey Anderson (204) vs. Tom Lawlor (204.5)

Amanda Nunes (136) vs. Valentina Shevchenko (134)

Holm v Tate as well. Awesome card.

I fear for Diaz. But it's going to be very interesting to see what his unique skill set can do to McGregor's ability to take a million punches to the chin, without seeming to flinch. Gotta think McGregor once again has this though.

I don't know. Diaz is powerful. Plus, this is McGregor's first fight at this weight class. I think If Diaz had had a training camp for this fight, it would be Diaz's fight to lose. But since that didn't happen, I think it's 60/40 in favor of Diaz.

What a great night of fights. The Holly/Tate fight was absolutely perfect. Everything you want to see in this sport. The McG/Diaz fight wasn't the fight of the century, but it was damn awesome as well. Without spoilers, THAT IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DON'T PLAY DEFENSE AND KEEP YOUR HANDS DOWN TO TAUNT YOUR OPPONENT!
