No one voted for Lebron. Or Westbrook, or Kawhi Leonard (finished 2nd). Or anyone else for that matter. And that's never happened before in the history of NBA MVP voting. Steph Curry got every single 131 1st place votes. That's pretty amazing. But makes sense. Warrior's season this year was historic; best record ever with 73-9, edging out Michael Jordan of 1996 (72-10). Basically impossible to overlook. And without Curry, none of that would have been possible. Not to mention all the other records he set in the season, and now in the playoffs too.

Gotta be my favorite player in the league, by far. For a while, I really liked watching Harden play in OKC. I always thought he was undervalued, and with him and Westbrook that was really fun to watch. But then he left, and isn't nearly the same in Houston.

Nah, Curry deserves this all the way. And as if he needed to prove his value even more, in his first game back from injury in this year's playoffs....

Pundits are already calling him one of the legends of the sport. Not just one of the best in the game right now, but deserved to be considered one of the best of all time. I think if he leads his team to back to back championships, especially after this season, that will be true. But if they don't win this year, it will be a pretty massive let down. It won't tarnish is legacy, but winning it all this year will cement it.
