Who wins? Recently have been getting into Jui Jitsu myself, so I think this year I will be paying attention to the fighting sports. That means Judo, Wrestling (both freestyle and Greco Roman) and Taekwondo. Question is, which one do you think is the best art to know? Or really all I'm asking is which one do you think is the most legit?

In Judo, all the goal seems to be is to make another land on their back. Seems kinda lame to me. For Taekwondo, head and chest kicks and punches. That's useful. Then wrestling. I think that wins. Both are pretty interesting in their own right; for freestyle you can use your whole body, but in Greco Roman, just your upper body.

Truth be told, I would like to see the gold medalists in all 4 sports freestyle fight using all 4 disciplines at their own discretion, submission style, and settle the question once and for all. What would you call that, MMA? :)

Which is the best to you?

That's such a hard question. Obviously a mix of all of them is the best. Is it better to absolutely master a craft? Or be skilled in all? I'd rather be skilled in all.

Maybe it's a rock, paper, scissors kind of thing, where every discipline has a weakness and a strength over the others. I'd rather be skilled in all too. I bet the judo and wrestlers wouldn't have a hard time learning both. Taekwondo is the outlier there. In Judo and wrestling, you are taught in part to use someone's kicks or punches against them. So I think it comes full circle to teach them how to also effectively punch and kick.
