Patriots Win The Super Bowl!

After a hard fought game on both sides, the Patriots came out with a super lucky win. After a TD was made to give the Patriots a lead late in the game, the Seahawks made an incredibly bad decision to not let Skittles (Marshawn Lynch) do what he does. Better than anyone in the entire league may I add. I was shocked when they made that call. Shocked. You had this game in the bag. Well, 1 yard away from the bag! And you chose not to give the ball to the guy who is nationally known for being able to deliver to the bag flawlessly! A pass... Really? And affter a few dangerous in-completions just moments before that.

I guess the win went to the team that made smarter decisions in the end. I would like to say this was due to the lack of time put in by Wilson, but that's not true. That call should have never left the sideline. Rookie mistake by a veteran coach. And at one of the most important moment of your entire career.

What a great game. I didn't have a dog in the fight, but I would have liked to see Seattle win it. They can't blame anyone other than themselves for this loss. Whoever thought that passing the ball on the one yard line with seconds to go needs to be fired tonight.

This is how Pete Carroll must have felt after he made that call. i.imgur.com/Kb8uL75.gif The second guy is Bill Belichick

That play was reminiscent of the 100 yard interception return for TD of Arizona's Kurt Warner by Pittsburgh's James Harrison in Super Bowl XLIII. Pittsburgh won 27-23.

Much better than the last Super Bowl. I was really not looking forward to a Seattle blowout again, even though I was rooting for them all the way. I just wanted it to be close. But not that close. And I thought they had it too. I screamed at the tv after that throw, and just put the game on mute afterwards. So disappointing. It was a bad call. But then again, if it had worked.. it would've been called 'gutsy' and talked about for approx 10 seconds after the fact.

Carroll is going to have to be answering for that call for the rest of the offseason. Likely almost every single day, and then some. His answer as to why he made the call was a joke; obvious deflection. He should have just said it was a bad call on his part. Just take the blame and try and move on. But maybe he really believed it wasn't, and that the defender really did make a next to impossible play (or whatever he said about that INT).
