The Atlanta Falcons are headed to the second Super Bowl appearance in their franchise history, after beating the Packers 44-21. I can honestly didn't see that coming whatsoever, nor did anyone else I know. My bet was for the Packers to win by a field goal.... But no. They were demolished by the Falcons.
Falcons QB, Matt Ryan showed out with a total of 4 TD's thrown, including a 73 yard run by Julio Jones. They were just the better team tonight. No doubt about it. The Packers seemed to have not shown up at all. They were overtaken in almost every aspect through the majority of the game.
Though Rodgers' numbers didn't look too bad, with a total of 234 yards and 3 TD's. But man, numbers are just numbers. I should also mention that I desperately wanted the Aaron Rodgers in the Super Bowl this year. He deserves it more than any other QB in the game right now.
So now the Falcons will face off against either New England or Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl on Feb. 5 in Houston.

Curious why you think that? I think he is one of the most deserving. But so is Matt Ryan. Plus Rodgers has already been. Ryan has been really good to great for years now. Lots of bad losses in the playoffs for him. Glad he made it through this time.
I thought that game was going to be a lot more competitive too.
