  • The NFL preseason is officially upon us. Time to start getting excited for weekend games again! I know a lot of people don't really consider the preseason as "real football", but I completely disagree with that. To me, the preseason is almost as entertaining as the postseason, especially once you start watching a game.

  • The Woman's U.S. soccer team currently sits in first place of group D. After their 3-1 win against Australia, and a 0-0 tie against Sweden, that has put them into a sweet spot.
  • There are 52 highly anticipated matches in this years FIFA World Cup. All of these games are going to take place within 30 days, so be ready for kind of a crazy schedule.   • At one point golf was gaining popularity extremely fast. It's safe to say now that the dust has settled, and it's looking very bleak for the sport. Over the past few years the sport has teetered on a tightrope as to if it will take a dive or not. There's no denying the it has become way too expensive to keep as a daily practice. All you need for most other sports is two legs and ball.
  • The Pac 12 tournament is on it's way to Las Vegas this weekend at the MGM Grand Arena, Thursday, March 11th. Who will be victorious? I guess we will have to wait and see. No doubt thought that there is some great looking matchup's ahead. Of course everyone has their eye on Arizona, as it is the top seed entering the tournament.
  • After a new qualifying format was introduced this year, there was a majority of drivers left upset. The issue was the new group qualifying instead of the traditional single car on track. In my mind there is no doubt this was a mistake. The qualifying lap needs to be a time of 100% focus on the track and speed.
  • It's official! Manny Pacquiao will fight Floyd Mayweather on May 2nd. I'm shocked that this is actually happening. Shocked and extremely excited. Anyone who knows me, knows I dislike Mayweather and sincerely hope Pac man shows him the door to a loss. There are plenty of people that disagree with me though.
  • For me, this was geared up to be the very best year for Super Bowl commercials to date. After seeing several sneak peaks of what was in store I was more than excited.   • The UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones recently tested positive for cocaine. After the test had conclusive results the fighter spent only one day in rehab to, "cure" himself. I do not understand how this is possible. And I'm not speaking on just the usage of the drugs. I am confused as to how the league would keep his last few fights as wins without question.
  • I am a big NFL fan myself. There are several reasons as to why I enjoy putting on the games and zoning out every Sunday for hours. I think most would agree the main reasons for watching the sport are the physical aspects, the rivalries, the showmanship of the players, and the skill and athleticism it takes to run that many plays for hours.
