2018 Little League World Series

    The excitement is coming to Williamsport once again, starting on Thursday the 16th at 1 o'clock ET. It's both exciting and entertaining to watch some of the best young baseball talents compete from all over the world. It's even more exciting for the twelve and thirteen year olds that get to live out their dreams and compete at the highest level and meet some of the most elite talent from around the globe. Here is the full first-round pairings for Thursday and Friday.

    • Game One (8/16 at 1 p.m.): Caribbean Region vs. Asia-Pacific Region
    • Game Two (8/16 at 3 p.m.): Mid-Atlantic Region vs. Midwest Region
    • Game Three (8/16 at 5 p.m.): Mexico Region vs. Australia Region
    • Game Four (8/16 at 7 p.m.): New England Region vs. Southwest Region
    • Game Five (8/17 at 2 p.m.): Europe and Africa Region vs. Japan Region
    • Game Six (8/17 at 4 p.m.): Great Lakes Region vs. Northwest Region
    • Game Seven (8/17 at 6 p.m.): Latin America Region vs. Canada Region
    • Game Eight (8/17 at 8 p.m.): Southeast Region vs. West Region

    With that being said, what are some of the teams that you are looking forward to watching the most?

    From that list, Game 5. Japan is always fun to watch. Probably the best finals last year was with them and Texas, that I have seen. Kinda hoping for a repeat, unlikely as that is.

    I definitely agree. I love watching Japan and Puerto Rico, they always have great talent and discipline on the field.

    It's really cool to watch these kids play. It's got everything that the professional sports have, just in a more light-hearted way. But yeah, it's also really surprising to see just how disciplined some of the team's are. I wonder what their training regimens look like.
