This is just about the perfect championship match-up for this year's Little League World Series. Both South Korea and Hawaii have been absolutely dominating the past 10 days in Williamsport, so I'm super excited to see which team will be the champion.

It's really anyone's game. Both of these teams are really, really in-sync and are at the top of their game. On one hand we have Hawaii. Just this Saturday they defeated Georgia 3-0 to win the U.S. title and advance to the championship game against SK. That momentum is going to go a long way in the final, being that it is less that 48 hours later. Coming off a strong win at a title game is going to give them a ton of confidence.

On the other hand we have South Korea. They just defeated Japan 2-1 for the international title. The win wasn't as dramatic and confidence boosting as Hawaii's, but it's still going give them what they need to perform. And not to mention, SK has made it to the LLWS championship game 5 out of 6 LLWS appearances. With a record like that, they should fee right at home in this situation.

I'm going to guess that SK wins the championship this year. Their record and how they are playing right now just tips the scale in their favor.

The game starts Sunday, 8/26 3p.m EST.

What's everyone's thoughts? Who do you think will win?

Going for Hawaii myself. For the underdog effect, the fact I think they might be the better team of the two, momentum, and lastly, those islands have been hit hard this year, with volcanoes and rain and flooding.

So it reminds me a little of when the Saints won the Super Bowl just after Hurricane Katrina. It would be a good morale booster for the big island, for towns like Hilo and that surrounding area, especially.

Man.... I completely forgot about the volcanos and other disasters they've had recently. It would be really, really great if they won. Nothing quite matches the emotional affect that sports can bring to the table after stuff like that brings everyone down. And plus, everyone loves an underdog!

Rooting for Hawaii all the way. South Korea has had plenty of chances. As of now, Hawaii is up 1-0 in the 2nd.
