Budweiser and Bud Light have a long history of straight up infiltrating culture with catch phrases over the decades that start or go mainstream during Super Bowl ad campaigns. Bud-wei-ser frogs, Whatsssss-up, etc. come to mind. But I thought they lost their mojo until out of nowhere we get Dilly Dilly!

Everyone knows that phrase now. We got two Dilly Dilly! ads for SB 52, which kicked off what felt like a dozen or so really creative ads throughout 2018. And I'm sure Bud Light isn't going to let that campaign lose steam. They are supposed to air 2 Bud Light ads during the game, and I expect at least one to ramp up Dilly Dilly even further.

Anyone that finds that SB 53 Dilly Dilly ad (or ads) post here if you would. Looking forward to it.

I am hoping they bring back the battle scene. Though I do like the king and his wife ones too. Last years were both some of my favorites, this being the most iconic and better one for sure:

Bud Light - The Bud Knight

Bud Light definitely outdid themselves this time by teaming up with HBO to promote the final season of Game of Thrones. They got a few "Dilly Dilly's" in there, but this 90 second commercial was a heck of a lot more than that. A jousting match turned into something far scarier after The Bud Knight defeated a mysterious opponent in a jousting match only to find out that the opponent was actually The Mountain from Game of Thrones. Needless to say, The Mountain got the final word.

Bud Light - Game of Thrones Season 8

That ad was great. Maybe my favorite of the night. Made so much sense to partner with GOT. Very well done.
