    Masters Leaderboard

Don't look now but Tiger Woods is tied for first after his first 16 holes at the Masters at -3. He could finish the day in first! I am real excited to see him vie for a championship for real this time. I think his game is finally back to a sustainable level where he really could win.

So Tiger won it all in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005. He is tied for the second most wins at the Masters with Arnold Palmer. Only Nicklaus has more with 6.

It's real hard to call a tournament after day 1. Scores rarely hold up unless there's a huge lead. Leaderboard is pretty bunched up right now, so there's lots of room for action at the top. But I am squarely rooting for Tiger this year. It's been Spieth for a while for me. But I am feeling the Tiger wave this year.

What I want to see is Tiger and Koepka battle it out in a sudden death. Those are the most 2 interesting names on the leaderboard for me. Mickelson 3rd. They all have a legit shot.

    2019 Masters - Round 1 Highlights
    2019 Masters - Round 2 Highlights

Will try and post round by round highlights here. So Tiger started off pretty good at -2 under and I thought he was good until the rest of the leaderboard finished up and he was down 4 strokes after the first round. Felt like he was good but not really in contention.

Then the 2nd round, he went off. Basically started at hole 9 with that long birdie putt. Then another birdie on 11. That was great. Another birdie on 14. And 15 another. And he almost birdied again on 18 to tie the leaders. Ended up 1 stroke off the top spot with a round 2 68. He now officially has a great chance to win this year.

Tiger's playing really solid. Could be his time. Still hoping for him and Koepka, though I would throw in Conners and DeChambeau. Both have really cool stories for this year.

It's so awesome seeing him play this well after so many years of trials and tribulations. I hope he's able to keep it up reclaim his green jacket yet again.

Tiger's playing solid but crazy to see Tony Finau shot up the leaderboard. He is -8 on the day through 15. -11 overall. That's awesome for him. Same for Webb Simpson. -8 on the day and he is done but tied for 2nd at -9 overall. Funny how much fortunes can change in just one round. Apparently anyone can make up 8 to 10 strokes in a single day. So it's ANYONE'S game going into the final round.

Woods is -2 on the day through 11 so plenty of chances for him to catch Finau. He did well on the back nine in Round 2. Hoping for a repeat of a few more birdies.

Its crazy to see this. Tiger's -14 and just parred 17. Koepka is -12 and might birdie 18. So really all Tiger has to do is par out and he's got it. Best Masters in years. I really wanted Brooks and Tiger to play in a playoff. But Tiger just played better than everyone else today. Something that hasn't be true for years. Hell of time for him to turn his career around.

I was cautiously optimistic in the first round for Tiger to do well. Held out hope for him to win. But I didn't expect it. It had been so long. But going into the last 5 holes you just knew it was going to happen. And it just did. Pretty amazing moment, Tiger Woods just won his 5th Masters!

Did everyone see how excited he was right after? I'll need to find a video to post. Really happy for the guy. This is one of his most impressive wins ever as well.

All I can say is...that was awesome!

I've been a Tiger fan since I was a young kid. It's so great to see him win a big tournament again, and even more so with it being The Masters.

Oh yeah, the final two rounds of highlights:

    2019 Masters - Round 3 Highlights

2019 Masters - Final Round Highlights

Had a feeling when Tiger was paired with Finau and Molinari in the final pairing for the final round that experience would win out.
