The College Football Playoffs are just around the corner! So now is the time to cast your predictions for the top team in the game. It's no secret the LSU Tigers are probably the number one pick for champion this year, followed closely by the Clemson Tigers. Both teams have had a stellar year and are, in my opinion, the two teams that are safe bets for champion. We also have other teams like Ohio State and Oklahoma that are looking super solid.

Ohio State, LSU and Clemson are leading their conferences with season records of 13-0, while Oklahoma is sitting at 12-1. The one loss from OU against Kansas State doesn't count them out for me. The game ended at 41/48 and didn't really show any serious flaws on their part.

Out of these four teams, I'm gonna have to go with LSU. They had the toughest schedule this year, in my opinion. Coming out of it 13-0 and still looking strong is a good indication of what's to come. On the flip side, Clemson had a pretty relaxed schedule and didn't seem to face any really challenging teams. Both Ohio State and the Oklahoma had much more demanding seasons, so I'd give them a higher chance than Clemson. The Peach Bowl with LSU vs Oklahoma will tell us a lot when it comes to the rest of the playoffs. I predict one of those teams will be champion.

I've never been the best at predicting tournament outcomes, so I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on who the champion will be.

Gotta go with LSU. They have had the most impressive season. Strongest wins. Never looked like they were going to lose a game. Their QB Joe Burrow is about to win the Heismann and everything looks pointed squarely in their direction.

Though this is a rare year with 3 dominant teams all in. Usually you only have 1-2. But we have 3 undefeated teams that are clearly a cut above the rest in the country. And then there's OU. Fully expect LSU to blow them out.

For the Fiesta Bowl I think Clemson gets it over Ohio State. Clemson hasn't played anyone all year, but they are the defending champs and they are about to play a good team that I think will be close but they will win.

And just for a full prediction.. I'll say its LSU vs Clemson in the finals. And LSU wins it 31-24.

Don't think OU has a chance against LSU. But I'll go with Ohio State over Clemson. And LSU winning it all but not confident on that. Buckeyes had an easier schedule this year but doesn't mean they can't beat LSU if they play perfectly and LSU slips.

I’m going with LSU, but let’s not be too terribly quick to count OK out with no chance. Experience sometimes will play a roll in the game and who is the QB for the Sooners? None other than Jalen Hurts, former QB for the Crimson Tide with plenty of experience in the college football playoffs. Alright, I admit it’s a long shot but worth a thought. As for Clemson and OSU, in reality who cares? If LSU beats Oklahoma, just go ahead and give them the trophy and the rings.

Yeah, hard to count out Hurts, really ever. I'm hoping he gets drafted to a good team in the NFL and has success there. Fun to watch him. And agreed.. LSU all the way afterward.
