The entire sports world is shutdown. All except for NFL free agency at the moment. And that's a good thing especially for sports fans looking for a momentary escape from 24/7 news about corona.

NFL teams are as busy as ever trading big name players, deploying franchise tags and signing huge deals for 2020 season and beyond. Here are all the biggest moves and story lines so far:

-- Tom Brady leaves the Patriots. No word yet on where he will land but he isn't retiring and is expected to join either Tampa Bay or even more likely the Chargers on a short term deal.

-- The Texans traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals in exchange for David Johnson and a second round pick. Some are calling this the worst trade in NFL history.

-- Amari Cooper signs a 5-year, $100 million deal with the Cowboys. $60 million guaranteed.

-- Former Cowboy players sign elsewhere: Jason Witten is now a Raider. Randall Cobb is now a Texan. And Byron Jones is now a Dolphin, and the highest paid CB in the league with a $82.5 million deal for 5 years, $57 million guaranteed.

-- Cowboys franchised tagged Dak and signed Blake Jarwin to 3 year, $24.25 million deal

-- Stefon Diggs gets traded to the Bills for a 1st, 5th and 6th round 2020 pick and a 4th round 2021 pick. Bills get Diggs and a 2020 7th in return.

-- Kirk Cousins gets a two year $66 million extension with the Vikings.

-- Ryan Tannehill signs a 4 year $118 deal with the Titans, $91 mil guaranteed

-- Drew Brees re-signs with Saints. 2 years worth $50 mil, a team friendly bargain to keep him

-- Panthers sign Teddy Bridgewater and move on from Cam Newton. Terms not yet announced though Teddy is expected to make at least $20 mil/year.

-- Phillip Rivers signs 1 year deal with Colts worth $25 million

-- Titans franchise tag Derrick Henry

And even more to come... post big moves here. Or medium moves too, tons of those going down. Also thoughts on any of these trades, signings or franchise tag choices. Lots going in.

Nick Foles just got traded to the Bears. And Tom Brady is now a Buccaneer. Also Broncos are going to release Flacco and the Saints are signing Malcolm Jenkins.

I wonder what a Tom Brady lead Tampa Bay looks like. It would really be something if he takes the Bucs to a Super Bowl and wins it in his first year. Of course this is just me going off his past few years with the Patriots, but it'd be crazy to see. I also wonder why he chose that specific team. I thought I saw that he was going to Tennessee, so it's odd to see him go the opposite way.

It's also interesting to me that he decided to go to a different team rather than completing his legacy with the Patriots with a retirement. He has to know that the longer he plays, the more losses he's likely to gain. You'd think he would have just ended it on a high note with the Pats.

Todd Gurley leaves the Rams and signs a 1-yr deal with the Falcons. And Melvin Gordon leaves the Chargers to sign a 2-yr deal with the Broncos.

I think he wanted to go to Tennessee but they signed Ryan Tannehill to an extension, opting for the younger player. And then he wanted to leave the AFC for the NFC. He reportedly favored the Bucs because it was still on the east coast, where his family will stay (in Mass.) while he plays during the season. Also the Bucs are a good fit for him. Great wide receivers and a good coach. Will be interesting to see how far he can take them in 2020-21. I would not be surprised at all if Tampa Bay wins their division this year.
