I thought this had already been done since the MLB has been around for ages. According to sources, the 2020 season began with three jersey numbers that have never been seen before, 86, 89 and 92. The New York Yankees issued the last unworn number in the regular season - number 89 to Miguel Yajure on August 20th of this year. This mean every number from 0 to 99 has now appeared on the MLB diamond.

Pretty cool stuff huh? Surprised as I am? Or is this just interesting to me?

Really surprised this didn't happen sooner. You would think players throughout history would seek out unused numbers because they are so unique. Pretty cool fun fact.
