Buckeyes did, technically for this special season. I think it's supposed to be at least 10 games normally, somehow correct me if I'm wrong. But they had to make exceptions for 2020.
Does seem inherently unfair to play 5 less regular season games and still make it to the national title. But they did win a playoff game, very convincingly over Clemson. And they did play 3 ranked teams during the regular season. So that's a pretty good resume.
Alabama on the other hand beat four top 25 teams, and won their playoff game even more convincingly. So my guess is Alabama has this game. And just because they played more, and therefore have the better resume, probably deserve it a bit more.
But sucks for Ohio State because if they would have played 12 games, its very likely they too would be 12-0. And its not like the players didn't want to play. So...
