You heard that right. For the first time in 37 years, Budweiser will not be airing one of its iconic Super Bowl ads this year. It's hard to believe because they're such a mainstay. We won't see the Clydesdales or the wagon this year, which is kind of sad. Also, Pepsi won't have an ad because they are focusing on the halftime show, Coke its opting out, and Avocados from Mexico isn't going to have a commercial either.

"Experts interviewed by the AP cited concerns about everything from high advertising prices during a tough economic time and risky filming conditions during the pandemic, as well as a news cycle that changes seemingly by the second as potential reasons why many advertisers might be opting out. "

We will still get plenty of commercials though from M&M's and Pringles. One bright side is that Anheuser-Busch will still be advertising brands like Bud Light and Michelob Ultra. So there's that at least. Just going to miss the Budweiser ad though. Who else agrees? So instead of getting down about it. Let's sound off on our favorite Budweiser commercials.

Wow that's sad, but I understand why. I'd have to say the Lost Dog one. :)

Yeah, read that Budweiser feels it would be tone deaf (to paraphrase) for them to run an ad, given everything that's happened lately. But I do find it odd that they just think that for Budweiser, but Anheuser-Busch doesn't think that for their light beers? Not quite sure the disconnect there.
