What do you think of the 10-team NBA playoff format?

So they changed things up for the 2020 season, for obvious reasons, to where the top 6 seeds from each conference were guaranteed a spot, and then the 7-10 seeds got to play in to the tournament. And that seemed like a one off idea until they decided to roll with it again for 2021. And possibly make it the new way the playoffs work.

Do you like this better for the NBA? It's really the classic question - is allowing more teams into the postseason a good thing or does it just water down the regular season?

I'm a-ok with this becoming permanent. I honestly stopped watching the NBA for awhile because some god awful teams were making the playoffs. I started wondering why they were having a regular season at all. Personally, I think the playoffs should be a reward for being a good or great team during the regular season and not because you want to allow as many teams in so there's a chance for a "Cinderella" story.

I'm goo with this being the norm for the new playoff format as well. I don't think it hurts anything to open of the playoffs. I think it might make the regular season a little more interesting to more fans too. Unless I'm missing something here I think it was probably a good move.

But this will make it even more likely for Cinderella stories because we go from 8 to 10 teams with a chance. Why would you be cool with it if you were already annoyed with too many bad teams in before this?
