I know there aren't a ton of people that are very happy about NASCAR's decision to turn the Bristol Cup to a dirt track. For whatever reason people are iffy about it, I think it's a cool idea. The entire idea was to mix some fun into the race and honor NASCAR's roots.

Drivers have been saying just how fun but tough the track was on Friday. Teams were also begging for more tires during Friday's race and it looks like they actually made the changes to fix the drivers concerns. Competition changes have been made that include a caution lap at 50, each team to get an additional set of tires, caution lap at 150, stage 1 ends at lap 100 and stage 2 ends at lap 200. These are great changes and should make the drivers happy for Saturday's race.
