U.S. U-23 men's soccer team fails to qualify for Olympics a 3rd time

    For the third time in a row, the U.S. under 23 soccer team isn't going to the Olympics. The last time the team played in the Olympics was in Beijing in 2008. This is the first time since 1960, 1964, and 1968 that they've missed three summer Olympics in a row. This came after a loss to Hunduras 2-1. Was curious if any big soccer fans to weigh in on as to why this has happened more than once. You'd think since they'd pretty much have a new team every season, that it would get some new talent in right?

    Sucks. I wrote about this in another thread and really thought they were going to go this time. Strong start but fell off midway through.
