Green Bay's Offense Won't Be The Same Without Jordy Nelson

Jordy Nelson believed to have torn ACL on Sunday

Really sucks when a major injury happens to a star skill player, in a meaningless game. Even worse when there was no contact on the play; just an awkward way Jordy fell that did it to him.

It's not 100% confirmed just yet, but believed that Nelson will miss the entire 2015 season with a torn ACL.

How do you think this will affect Rodgers and the rest of the offense in their chances of doing something big this year? To me, outside of Rodgers, that's the absolute worst person to have gotten hurt. He is the guy that makes that offense so dangerous. He makes you respect the throw on every play because of how talented he is at the deep route and catching with 2 feet in on a sideline route. That in turn makes the run game successful, and opens up Cobb and others down the middle.

Remove Jordy, and no doubt this offense weakens. I think they will still be good. But I have a hard time believing they will be great without him this year.

Also, for what it's worth, one less fantasy star prematurely comes off the board. Between him and Kelvin Benjamin, #1 elite receivers are becoming more and more a commodity.

I'm a die hard Bears fan, but even I feel terrible for Jordy. A star player should never go down with a potentially season ending injury in the pre-season (or any part of the season for that matter).

This will definitely make Rodgers and the rest of the offense have to come up with a new game plan, but they are still incredibly strong this season. I don't think it's going to be that big of a game changer, especially since they have the entire season to figure out what to do next.
