This Stanley Cup Will Be Fast and Hard Hitting.

This year's Stanley Cup playoffs are going to be as fast paced as they come. The two teams, Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks both have a knack for being able to control the game from a speed angle. That was the main weapon they used when winning their conferences.

First off, we have the Penguins. Their main (to me) stars, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are going to be geared up an most likely unstoppable. Not to mention all the others that have did their part getting the team to the Final. This will be their first opportunity to win the cup since 2009. And I'm sure they will do every bit that they can do to take it home.

And now we have the underdog, the San Jose Sharks. This team has surprised everyone to get this far. Not only is it the very first time the Sharks have been in the final in 24 seasons, but it's also Peter DeBoer's very first year as a coach. That's just crazy. They must have found something right in that mixture.

Although my money is on the Penguins to win the cup, I really want the Sharks to. Their story for this year is just too cool not to cheer for them. How do you see this year's Stanley Cup going?

I completely agree. Both teams have speed as theyr primary weapon. It'll be interesting to see which one gives first.

Game 1 was pretty telling. Penguins got it, but it was super close. Perfect example of how speed can turn into multiple goals really quickly. I see this series going to 6 or 7. Will be a good one. ... I'm also rooting for the underdog here.

The Sharks are just trailing behind, but I still think this will be a knock-down,drug-out fight to the end.
