She just won her first match, against Australia. Judging by the rest of the women's singles field, I don't see anyone that can stop her. After she just tied Graff for most career grand slams ever, she is on pace to win back to back gold medals. If she pulls it off, I think that will make her the world athlete of the year.. does that even exist?

Will be 5 all time olympic golds, if she wins. I think as far as counting on Team USA members to win the gold, she is one of the best locks of any sport.

Hope so does win, as her and her sister lost for the first time ever in the first round of the doubles tournament. That was pretty shocking.

I know, I didn't see that coming. They are such a force to be reckoned with one their own, but together, they're in super boss mode.

I bet that was super hard for them to take in. Both of them losing first round is pretty crazy. If you would have asked me who could be put up against them a few months back to take them both out, I would have said you're crazy.

Yeah, good point. Sucks too, as she said in the vid that she would rather play doubles with her sister than solo, if she had to chose. Imagine she is pretty heartbroken.

So much for the lock.. lol. That's too bad. I thought for sure she would coast to the finals too. Here's her letting her racket have it..
