The Nashville Predators are now down 0-2 against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup playoffs. This Saturday is the time to dig their claws in and pull out a win. It would be a slim chance for them to stay in the Cup if they don't. Losing game 3 would force them to have to win the next 4 games in a row. And although that isn't likely, I've seen it happen before.
In my opinion the Penguins aren't playing incredible hockey, in fact, they were outplayed by the Preds in games 1 and 2. Though they did play well enough for a few short bursts to win both games. And to be clear, I'm not saying they didn't deserve it. A win is a win. But It really bothers me when I see a team play much better than their oppenent and still come up short.
I see the Predators winning on Saturday. I think they've gotten a good scare from their current deficit and will be playing with everything they have. I think a full Preds offense will be a bit too much for the Penguins to handle.
The game is Saturday 6/3 at 8 p.m. ET.
