Oklahoma Sooner's Quarterback, Baker Mayfield has won the Heisman Trophy. After collecting 732 first-place votes and 2,398 points in the voting totals, Mayfield now has the third highest percentage of possible points since 1950, a whopping 86%. This will be the sixth Oklahoma University player to win the Heisman Trophy. That's quite a record.
Most everyone predicted this as a sure-fire win for Mayfield. He took the No.2 Sooners to the playoffs, and was 2nd ranked passer in the nation with 4,340 passing yards and 41 passing touchdowns.
Mayfield said, "This is unbelievable for me. It’s something words can’t even describe. It’s such an honor."
