I'm sure it was possible, but I never have actually seen it before. In most race cars, the steering wheel comes off. I'm sure many of you have seen it right before a driver jumps into the vehicle. I've just never seen and or noticed a victory burnout like this before. Kyle Larson seems to have patented a victory burnout in his own style - by taking the steering wheel off and holding it out the window. I guess I had never noticed it before until today. From what I've found out, he didn't start doing this when he came to NASCAR. He's been doing this since his open-wheel and dirt track days. Has anyone else seen something as crazy as this when it comes to victory laps or donuts before?

That, paired with stuff like UT leaking to the media that Charlie Strong was getting the axe, means any coach taking that job is on shaky ground as far as job security goes. Which is understandable why they'd go with someone like Sakisian and not one of the more desirable candidates.

It doesn't look like he'll make a huge impact on bringing back UT's program. His work with the Huskies after Willingham's awful stint was just okay. Then his stint at USC. He was let go during the middle of the second season. The main thing to point out is that both of his successors at UW and USC surpassed his achievements. So that doesn't make it seem like he'll put UT at the top of the Big 12.
