Cam is now a mentor to whoever they draft in the 2021 QB class which is deep. I predict the Patriots trade up for a QB. The hardest place to draft a good QB is almost a lower round I think because why trade up a with a team with a pro bowl QB to get your guy? As outsiders can make trades to jump over lower drafters.

Some team in the 2017 draft may have thought Mahomes would have fell to them and so why trade up and lose draft picks to guarantee a guarantee? By trading up the Chiefs snagged him over any other teams who liked his potential.

Good trade for LA. They know they have a Super Bowl caliber team because they just made the Super Bowl. And who here doesn't think that Matthew Stafford doesn't put enough points for the Rams defense to win the Super Bowl in 2019. That was an embarrassing offensive performance by Goff gifting Tom Brady a ring that year.

Everyone should have known this would be a bracket busting year. Nothing has been right. But which teams do you pick to get upset? So much randomness this year.

Gonzaga is the best team in the nation right now, and it's not even really that close. They went a perfect 26-0 in the regular season, and got the top #1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. Four of their players made SI's top 50 players of the season, all ranking in the top 10. And Corey Kispert, their leading scorer, made AP's first team All-American, while two of their other players made the second team.

Baylor's Jared Butler also made the AP All-American first team, and is considered one of if not the best players in the country right now. And Davion Mitchell made the third team. Baylor went 22-2 and only really showed any signs of being beatable in the Big 12 conference semifinals where they lost a close one to Oklahoma State.

Even still, stacking top talent on your roster is a recipe for winning NCAA titles and making deep March Madness runs. I just don't see anyone hanging with Gonzaga or Baylor until they get to the Final Four. If either loses before that it'll be a massive upset. I do also think one of these teams wins it all, and would be perfect if they played each other in the final game.

OMG it finally happened -- to my team -- the Stars just scored with 12 seconds left to tie Calgary and send the game into overtime. And they had to review offsides but since there was no good view they kept the goal. But what if it was overturned? Totally stupid rule. I would have been sooooo pissed!

And if your priority and only concern is to help the worst teams and be more like controlled lottery odds percentages, you could create a system where a round robin tournament also has built in "odds" such as spotting the worse team some points to start.

There could be some creativity involved in making it harder for the 8th worst team from winning a top draft pick such as the two worst teams get a first round bye with a 6 team tournament instead of 8.

Or, maybe you just do the worst 8 teams overall and not make it west vs east as that will probably exasperate the west vs east divide.

Or, you could have the worst four teams play for picks 1-4 and the next worst four teams play for picks 5-8. But I just don't think there is as much excitement watching if you're only playing to move up 3 slots. It's a lot more intense if you know you could win the #1 pick or end up losing big with #8.
